Arshavin is honest, annoyed, waiting for Zhirkov to get dressed

We've already examined Andrei Arshavin's latest attempt to satisfy the odd and inquiring minds of his fans, but the treasures of his official website go far beyond those Q&A sessions. Following Arsenal's 2-0 loss to Chelsea on Sunday, Arshavin answered a few more questions from his site administrator. And judging by his answers, he wasn't really in the mood for them.

arshavin.eu: Was it a deserved defeat?
A.A
: I don’t know. The one, who scores more, wins the game.

Duh.

arshavin.eu: The audience liked this derby.
A.A
: I think that the teams had a good game. No one was sitting back, we were playing open football. There was a lot of struggling, but there was a game. Nobody wanted to concede. But, unfortunately, Drogba scored as always and we lost.

As a Chelsea fan, I have to admit that I enjoy the fact that Arsenal players' response to Drogba scoring goals against them is, "He did it again?!" Although, I guess that's to be expected when the guy has 13 goals in 13 games against them.

arshavin.eu: What did Arsenal need in order to win or at least not to lose?
AA: Goals. Two, at least.

Remember, these questions are being posed to him by his friend/business associate. Not some annoying journalist he's forced to talk to. And yet, it still sounds like Arshavin wants to punch the guy in the mouth.

Don't worry about the mental state of our dear Andrei, though. He's already moving on from the loss. Just as soon as Yuri Zhirkov gets his rear in gear and picks out something to wear.

arshavin.eu: It is clear now that you have not yet recovered from this defeat. But in Russia, everybody is expecting a lot from you. What spirits is our captain in? When can he "switch" to the national interests?
AA
: Everything is O.K. I’m already with the national team in my thoughts.

arshavin.eu: When are you coming to Moscow?
AA:
I’m at Yuri Zhirkov’s now. I'm waiting for him to change, and we're going to the airport.

I bet that was a fun ride.
